Introduction of the global minimum tax and TP developments

The past few years have seen significant changes in the international tax environment resulting from unprecedented international tax co-ordination between governments, jurisdictions introducing new tax regulations and taxpayers facing greater compliance obligations.

Hong Kong, as a leading global financial center, has adopted many of these global changes and, most recently, announced plans to adopt the Global minimum tax rules and introduce a Hong Kong minimum top-up tax (HKMTT).

In view of the above, BDO Tax team invites you to a live webinar where our team will:
  • Provide an overview of the global minimum tax rules and HKMTT;
  • Discuss areas where PRC multinational enterprise (MNE) groups are likely to be impacted;
  • Share case studies and practical examples;
  • Review Hong Kong profits tax and other compliance obligations under the revised regulations; and
  • Share suggestions and information taxpayers can use to prepare for these new rules.
