  • Summary

The changing risk landscape: “Top three threats are: Increasing competition, regulatory risk and economic slowdown. The risks businesses are most unprepared for are: technological changes and development, regulatory risk and macroeconomic development. A strong consensus across the regions in this year’s survey reflects a globalised and interconnected world. A lot of businesses are facing the same risks wherever they are located globally.”

BDO International surveyed 500 c-suite and senior level experts across 55 different countries in early 2017 to gain their views on the main risks facing their businesses now and into the future. The objective of the BDO Global Risk Landscape report was to gauge the perception of risk amongst business leaders around the globe.

During the survey, we performed detailed analysis into the results of this research, the survey results offer a snapshot in time into the key concerns faced by business leaders around the world. It also drilled down into a number of risk themes including emerging risk, cyber security and governance.

BDO is proud to announce the Global Risk Landscape Survey Results 2017 and share with you the insights of our findings.
