Building on the phenomenal success of Playstreet 2004, BDO McCabe Lo Limited sponsored a "BDO Happy Bank" in Playstreet 2005. Playstreet 2005 was organised by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Playright Children's Play Association and held on 4 December 2005 (Sunday).

The main theme of Playstreet 2005 was "Financial Management", aiming at educating Hong Kong families about the concepts and practices of managing money. With more than 50 games in four designated zones, it helped children understand how to manage money. Many of the games were centered on everyday life. The games also showed children that a truly rich and happy life calls for a balance between giving and receiving. The theme was reinforced by the distribution of a "PlayStreet Passbook" to all child participants for them to experience the earning, spending and saving process while rewarding them with "Happy Stones" when they volunteered to help others.

Our Managing Director, Albert Au, was on hand to make on-stage souvenir presentations at PlayStreet's opening ceremony.
