[Hong Kong, 28 Feb 2008]
We are pleased to announce that our director, Johnson Kong was appointed as the Vice-President of the Board of the Hong Kong Institute of Accredited Accounting Technicians (HKIAAT) with effect from 29 January 2008.
The HKIAAT was established in 1988 and is a subsidiary of Hong Kong's only statutory licensing body of accountants, the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA). It is governed by the Board which is comprised of CPAs, lecturers and professors of education institutes.
'Our graduates, the Accredited Accounting Technicians (AAT), are professional and dynamic people who are the backbone of business. AATs are highly sought after in private and public sectors. In 2008, the Institute will be focusing on promoting the launch of the new qualification framework and as the Vice-President this will be a challenging year for me,' Johnson said.
Congratulations to Johnson on his new appointment.
