The partners of BDO McCabe Lo and BDO Shanghai Zhonghua are pleased to announce the launch of their joint venture, BDO McCabe Zhonghua Consulting Co. Ltd. in Shanghai.

The consulting arm provides a comprehensive range of China tax and business advisory services to overseas and domestic clients from a wide spectrum of industries.

"There are huge demands for such specialized services for domestic clients, which due to their increasing size and business expansions, have a growing appetite for more value-added and sophisticated professional services. This new consulting business unit should be well placed to meet such service requirements," said Lin Dongmo, managing partner of BDO Shanghai Zhonghua.

Paul Neubelt, Chairman of BDO China echoed Lin's comment and added: "We at BDO International have for some time recognized the growing need to develop these service lines, due to the increasing demand from BDO members from around the world, which have service requirements in the Mainland. This news would be very much welcomed by our fellow BDO members. In time, we aim to have similar capabilities in all the BDO China member firms in order to provide service coverage in the entire country."

The partners of both firms are committed to strengthen their co-operation in other areas of professional services, training, technical and risk management.
