Our Director, Johnson Kong, in his capacity as the Convenor of the Mainland Business Interest Group, which operates under the auspices of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), chaired a symposium on PRC Labour Laws co-organised with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. The symposium was held on 20 June 2006 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. The four guest speakers were Division Chiefs of the Department of Labour and Social Security of Guangdong Province and the delegation was led by its Deputy Director General Madam Lin Wangping.
