Our Director and Head of Specialist Advisory Services, Mr. Johnson Kong (front row, 8th from left) spoke at the 'Annual Beijing - Hong Kong Corporate Restructuring, Mergers & Acquisitions and Liquidation Symposium' held on 29 November 2005 in Beijing. Mr. Kong is the Convenor of the Insolvency Interest Group, which operates under the auspices of the Hong Kong Institute of Certfied Public Accountants (HKICPA), and a leading member of the Beijing-HongKong Corporate Restructuring and Liquidation Joint Working Group which organised the event.The Symposium, sponsored by the HKICPA and the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce and supported by the Hong Kong Official Receivers' Office and the Beijing Lawyers Association, was attended by close to 100 PRC and Hong Kong insolvency professionals, including government officials, judges, accountants and lawyers. Sitting on the left of Mr. Kong is the Deputy Director General of the Beijing Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau Mr. Li Bao Wei.
