BDO McCabe Lo Ltd has always actively participated in community services. One of these activities is the Accountant Ambassadors Program, which is co-organised with the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA). The Accountant Ambassadors Program aims to provide educational support for secondary school students who are interested in developing their careers in the accounting industry.

In the latest Accountant Ambassadors Program event, more than 40 secondary school students visited our office on 22 December 2005. The visit featured a presentation of our firm¡¦s background, a discussion on career opportunities and industry prospects, and a tour of our offices and departments. The experience helped the students gain a better understanding of BDO and the accounting industry, widening their horizons and perspectives in the real business world. Positive feedback was received from many of students, who found the experience-sharing useful in understanding more about the accounting profession.
