Hong Kong : BDO McCabe Lo Admits New Partners

[Hong Kong, 3 May 2005] BDO McCabe Lo & Company is pleased to announce the admission of Tony Chan and Peter Chow as partners in April 2005.

Tony Chan was educated in Canada and had worked with a major accounting firm in Toronto for several years before joining BDO McCabe Lo & Company in 1995 as an Audit Assistant Manager. Prior to his admission as partner, Tony was Principal ? Assurance Services. Tony is the practice leader for assignments heading for the London AIM. He is proficient in IT audit and is also the practice leader for internal control reviews. Tony is a Hong Kong Certified Public Accountant and a Canadian Chartered Accountant.

Peter Chow joined the BDO network upon the completion of his academic studies, training as a junior auditor and progressing to the post of Principal - Assurance Services immediately prior to his admission to the partnership. Peter?s expertise is in assurance services. Having spent two years on secondment to a PRC accounting firm, he is well versed in China businesses and the PRC accounting and auditing framework and environment. Peter is also experienced in handling initial public offerings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange as well as U.S. SEC-reporting assignments. Peter is a Hong Kong Certified Public Accountant as well as a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
