I have fulfilled the election promises made during the 2005 election.

As Chairman of the Practice Review Committee, I oversee the rollout of the Institute's revised practice review program, the aim of which is to ensure that the Institute discharges its regulatory functions effectively to command public trust and confidence.

As Chairman of the Small & Medium Practitioners Committee, I strive to effectively balance the dual purpose of self-regulation and support to the smaller practitioners by helping them achieve the highest levels of quality in their professional work and introducing a guide to quality control and an audit practice manual.

As Chairman of the Faculty Steering Group, I oversee the establishment of a formal structure called faculties which provide support to members in specialized areas with the aim to raise industry standards, provide specialist training and, in the longer term, specialist qualifications and designations.
